SMILING: AN EXPRESSION INDICATING PLEASURE, AMUSEMENT, OR DERISION

Studies suggest that holding a smile on one’s face during periods of stress may help the heart, that it is an important role in maintaining and improving your health, both physically and emotionally. There is evidence that those who smile often live an average of 7 years longer than those who rarely conjure a regular smile.

So I decided to show you a few things that make me absolutely light up with a smile!

OH MY GOODNESS.. good food.. if you don’t already know this about me let me fill you in on a secret — I L O V E F O O D — and I am definitely a sucker for flatbread pizza! Good food makes me smile (probably too much), a delicious bite of something can improve my mood in an instant.

Another thing that always makes me smile are my summer memories with my brothers. Every summer my two brothers and I would travel with my Grandpa Ron to California. Believe me.. they were quite the adventures. If you know anything about my brothers they are BEYOND wild. Jacob and Daniel both will do whatever and say whatever to get a laugh out of me. I am putting this picture of us because this was the day that we left the hotel to walk to Carlsbad beach (our hotel was about a mile from the beach) and my brother Jacob has the worst sense of direction in the whole entire universe. Any who, one morning we took off to the beach and he says “Hey guys I know a shortcut, lets go this way” and of course me and Daniel look at each other like heck no we aren’t following him. Well long story short… we followed him. Needless to say we ended up at a train yard about 3 miles from the beach, with no phones, way too many homeless people around, and no idea where we were. That is the last time we ever took his directions, but those are great memories that I love with my brothers.

Some of my newest friends make me smile and laugh to no end. I know it’s hard to come by good friends, but I have been quite a lucky duck with finding such great friends at college.

So those are just a few things that always make me smile — I have definitely added an extra 7 years to my life 😉 ! Thank you all for reading and I hope you all enjoyed!
